After Paul's serious snow-skiing accident, doctors detected damage to his cerebral cortex in Wernicke's area. Because of the damage, Paul is most likely to experience difficulty in:
1. remembering past events.
2. pronouncing words correctly.
3. understanding what others are saying.
4. recognizing familiar faces.
We would like to take a couple days and go to MI this winter, for a first time experience. The place would not have to be fancy just nice and family oriented.

Of course, I plan on taking a ski lesson or two, but just want to understand if this is absolutely not an option for me with my knee surgeries and past issues.

I'm taking ski lessons for the first time and bought a pair of snow pants that I can easily manuever around in. However, I was told not to wear jeans underneath them. I have long-johns, but I doubt that'll be enough.
